Story[]
In Fruity Flakes, it is revealed that Elissa's father died in front of her of a brain anyeurism when she was young. The desire to not have to sit back and watch helpless while other people died is one of the things that motivated her to become a superhero.
In Outrageouslah Erroneous, the supervillain Anglerfish uses his lurelight to make Empowered see a hallucination of her father, who says that in a world of magic and alien superscience death doesn't have to be permanent. Empowered flies into a rage and beats up Anglerfish until he stops the illusion.
