Empowered has been captured by Frank and Thugboy, who are working as thugs for an unspecified boss. Frank tells Thugboy that the boss wants Emp disappeared, and Thugboy says he'll take care of it. He actually takes her back to her apartment, where they hook up. Once they establish that Emp is okay with dating a thug and Thugboy is okay with dating a C-list superhero, they decide to enter into a relationship.
